Shoes For Haiti Now would like to send a heart felt thank you to all the people from around the country that have donated thousand of shoes for the children, women and men of Haiti. The Shoes For Haiti Now project has collected about 5000 pairs of shoes for Haiti.

At this moment we are shifting our focus from collecting shoes to delivering the shoes to Haiti. WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!! We have secured transport of the shoes to Haiti, but we need help getting the shoes to the Soles4Souls warehouse in ALABAMA.  We have estimated the expenses to be $1500.00. All cash and in-kind donations are 100% tax deductible through our partnership with Sistas In Business.

Return Airline Ticket
Food

On January 12, 2010 the world was shocked by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake that hit the small country of Haiti. In the days and weeks to follow there were benefits and supply drives to collect items that the Haitian people desperately needed. The need that the earthquake created touched many people around the world.

On January 24, 2010, with a simple blog, quick logo design and help from a friend or two ShoesForHaitiNow.com was launched. The idea was simple, collect 100,000 pair of shoes for the children, women and men of Haiti. We missed our mark but we did succeed by collecting 5,000 pair of shoes. We collected the shoes by requesting that people ship the shoes to our temporary warehouse in San Antonio. We collected over 5,000 pair of shoes from all over the US.

Along the way to collect shoes we have met great people with big hearts. One of these people with a big heart is Wayne Esley the CEO for Soles 4 Souls. Soles4Souls.com is a non profit that is dedicated to providing shoes to people in need around the world. Another great group of people are the Owners of BlogCatalog.com. Blogcatalog.com is one of the largest social networking sites dedicated to bloggers. Blogcatalog.com graciously donated warehouse space to store the shoes.
